After a month off in Bonny Scotland I am a bit behind the times, but I am looking forward to learning all about Web 2.0 technologies and how we can utilise them in the Library environment. As an avid user of Facebook i can see the huge potential that this technology has for allowing us to connect and communicate with our students outwith the Libraries walls.
With all my previous experience in Public Libraries, an environment I found, that introduced new technologies with little thought, planning or staff training, I think it is great that we are undergoing a course which allows for discussion and debate amongst the team.
